Sitting at any international centre is verrry interesting indeed,
I have to admit I have at least 3 paintings in mind waiting to greet my in- transit friends.
A pack of saffron garbed monks? May have been a bunch of Choir personas? But the fact they were all robed and draped in 50km of fabric with little pottees on their heads tells me they’re different , and all that fabric?
YUM to paint.
Pity they all have cell-phones glued to their ears.
How unreligious. What an opportunity! All those furls and swirls against that ebony skin. Mind all the different faces and folk. What groups! such colours. Such brave young dressers.
With the gautrain, I think we may be onto something. Sketch and Ride sessions?
And here’s hoping the whole year is gracious and good to every one!
Me? Taking photos for the next year with Brilliant Greg Kerr, sketching .
I’m punting out canvasses for the comercial range which is doing well, and doing the initial prelims for another Kiddies book! And life is just such a brilliant journey.
Wish me well, It’s a New Zealeand job. The author lives on a boat. Funky or what?
